Annan House in the running for a Scottish Property Award

Annan House in Aberdeen has been shortlisted in the Development of the Year (Commercial Buildings) category at the 2016 Scottish Property Awards.

The bespoke 120,000ft² eight-storey, Grade ‘A’ office development, located on the site of the former neglected and derelict Seafood Park in the Aberdeen harbour area, is the new North Sea headquarters for EnQuest - the largest independent UK oil producer in the North Sea.

The development occupies a prime position on Palmerston Road, and is defined by a prominent glazed corner element marking the entrance to a spacious double-height entrance foyer and entrance hall which accesses the seven open plan office floors above.

Drum Property Group, Chief Executive - Graeme Bone said: “The development has provided a purpose-built solution for EnQuest and supports the company’s expansion. But, more generally, our proposals have led to the physical regeneration of a neglected and rundown area of the City and also act as a catalyst in generating additional long-term economic activity for the Aberdeen harbour area and City in general.”
