Cooper Cromar has recently completed The Silver Fin Building in Aberdeen with Titan Investors.
The building is a new 130,000 sqft Grade ‘A’ Office development located at the centre of Aberdeen’s Business District.
The design delivers a dramatic four-storey ‘townhouse’ scale building mass to Union Street with a ten-storey tower to Justice Mill Lane
To the rear of the site a ten-storey tower contains office accommodation, enveloped in predominantly glazed elevations with a granite ‘superframe’ overlay with anodised aluminium ‘Silver Fins’.
Behind a new contemporary Scottish granite façade lies an expansive entrance lobby, with a four-storey atrium providing views up to the office tower above.
The lobby incorporates Aberdeen’s premier ‘business lounge’ for all occupiers and their guests with wi-fi access, informal meeting areas and refreshment facilities.
The upper levels provide expansive floorplates with unrivalled views across the city and beyond.
The building has played a transformational role in the regeneration of this area of Aberdeen, providing a sensitive and considered response to the adjacent former Capitol Cinema and has been delivered to the most exacting of standards.
The building has achieved an EPC ‘A’ rating and BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating.
The Silver Fin Building has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards – Commercial Workplace (BCO Awards 2018) and Architectural Excellence Awards, Commercial Use (Scottish Property Awards 2018). Further updates will be posted soon.
