Cooper Cromar has completed the first affordable housing development to be built in West Dunbartonshire in 25 years.
Delivered by Robertson Construction, the £2.4 million development in Clydebank's Granville Street provides a mixture of contemporary 15 one and two bedroom flats within a gateway three-storey block, with adjacent three and four bedroom semi-detached and terraced housing completing the Granville streetscape.
The location of the three storey block takes advantage of countryside views while the two storey housing provides continuity and passive surveillance of Granville street and neighbouring housing courts. Overall, the development provides an attractive new build setting for future regeneration of this neighbourhood and develops a long standing brown field site.
The project was delivered using the Scape Framework which allowed it to be delivered in around a year - six months faster than would normally be possible.
