Two projects shortlisted for Homes for Scotland Best Large Development Award

Following a record number of entries, two residential projects designed by Cooper Cromar – Lighthouse Court and Gulliver Street - have been shortlisted for Best Large Development at this years’ Homes for Scotland Awards.

Designed for Places for People, Lighthouse Court provides a mixture of ground floor duplex accommodation with stylish one, two and three bed apartments across seven floors and has been praised by local residents: “I feel as if I am on a constant holiday living in this apartment. The layout of the open plan lounge/kitchen area is fantastic & functional. It is light, airy, spacious & opens onto a roof terrace with spectacular views across the Forth allowing me to relax and unwind after a hard day’s work.”

The second development, designed for Link Housing Association, consists of 28 homes on Gulliver Street, Edinburgh and provides a range of flats, semi-detached and terraced houses of varying sizes including two dedicated wheelchair homes.

Winners will be announced on Friday 16 May.
