St Margaret of Scotland Hospice

£4.7m

The re-development and upgrading of St Margaret of Scotland Hospice, originally designed by Gillespie, Kidd and Coia in 1971, comprises a 16,800ft², 30 bed extension to the existing complex.

Set around private landscaped gardens and a sizeable courtyard, residents also benefit from bright, spacious, communal dining and living areas, tastefully decorated in a homely fashion.

While predominantly stand alone, the works include a link building from the current Hospice to the existing Education Centre along with part internal alterations and partial refurbishment of the existing building.

The works were essential to ensure that the Hospice could continue to deliver the high standards of quality ‘end of life’ care for which it is well known.
