This project comprises a sustainable 850 residential unit masterplan within the suburbs of Bangor in Northern Ireland.


The proposals reflect various densities and scale (two to five storeys) taking cognisance of substantial changes in the site topography, utilising the changing ground levels to accommodate undercroft car parking (passive ventilated) to apartment units, and therefore maximising the provision of quality common amenity space.


A green travel plan will be introduced to all properties ensuring less reliance on cars and ensuring a sustainable public sector transport link to both Bangor and Belfast.


Seven different character areas have been designed into the layout taking advantage of existing woodlands, internal and external view corridors, connections to perimeter parks and an existing pond which provides both the development focus and community meeting spaces.
