Drum Property Group / EnQuest

£35m

The Grande is a bespoke 120,000ft² eight-storey office development located on the site of the former neglected and derelict Aberdeen Seafood Park in the harbour area.

The building is the new North Sea headquarters for EnQuest - the largest independent UK oil producer in the North Sea, and could ultimately provide Grade ‘A’ accommodation for a workforce of up to 800.

The development occupies a prime position on Palmerston Road and is defined by a prominent glazed corner element marking the entrance to a spacious double-height entrance foyer. A bank of lifts transports staff directly from the podium-level reception and entrance to the seven open-plan office floors above.

Drum director Graeme Bone said: “The development would provide a purpose-built solution for EnQuest and support the company’s expansion. But, more generally, our proposals would also lead to the physical regeneration of a neglected and rundown area of the city and act as a catalyst in generating additional long-term economic activity for the harbour area and city in general.”
