Scottish Power

£14.8m

Scottish Power’s Grade ‘B’ Listed Glasgow Headquarters, originally constructed in 1915 and designed by the famous architect J J Burnett, has been completely refurbished, restoring the 220,000ft² building to its former glory and upgrading the facilities.

Works included replacing windows, façade repairs, and comprehensive internal refurbishment including open plan offices, a call centre, conference facilities, a leisure and health suite, restaurant, and shopping facilities.

The building remained fully occupied and operational (1,700 staff) during the work, necessitating a multi-phased implementation strategy with decanting staff to vacant areas of the building.

Following this commission, Cooper Cromar have space planned, designed and produced a series of other fit-outs for Scottish Power and Thus (previously Scottish Telecom).
