We are delighted that our Client Ashfield Land has announced a late 2022 opening for Topgolf, a new state-of-the-art golf entertainment complex located just off the M74 near Rutherglen.
With Cooper Cromar appointed as the UK Lead Architect for the project and currently under construction, the venue will feature 72 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays over three tiers, an open air roof terrace and bar with seating for 70 people There will also be a sports bar, a lounge and event space with nearly 100 seats as well as a drive-thru coffee shop and drive-thru restaurant.
Based in Dallas, Texas, Topgolf currently operates over 70 venues operating in six countries, which attract over 30 million players per year combined. Glasgow will be home to Topgolf's fourth UK site and will be the first for Scotland, the original home of golf.
Topgolf is part of Clyde Gateway, one of Scotland’s biggest development projects and is expected to create more than 300 jobs.
